Sock it to ‘em

I’ve classified these fantastic cabled socks as men’s wear but they could most easily be worn by a women, the pattern makes up to a ten inch foot which is only just a little smidgen bigger than my feet (granted I’m not short, but I refuse to believe I have ginormous footsies).

This pattern comes from the booklet pictured below. Sadly it’s in a rather bad state of repair. Not only did a kindly soul decide to “mend” it by sticking brown paper round its spine, they also used the paper strip to make calculations on! Ah well, it’s better that I have it in bad condition than not at all. People, be kind to your patterns - one day some muggins like me will be cursing you and your highlighter/pen/pencil/sticky-tape repairs.

Get the sock pattern from the patterns section (Mens) as per normal.

I love your site! The patterns you are posting are wonderful, and it is so nice to see someone saving these beautiful patterns that are the normal fate for things on paper.

    Thanks Marlene!
