Essentials for the forces
I’ve acquired several new items for my collection full of patterns deisgned for service men and women during World War II. I’m very fond of patterns from the 1940s and have always had an interest in the “home front” aspect of WWII.
They also serve who only stand and wait knit.
I’ve added three new patterns from one of my latest acquisitions to the site (see the mens and womens categories in the patterns section). All of which I can see thoroughly modern applications for (though I confess that the long socks listed in the mens section I would knit for myself rather than a man).
